PartnerTech and Phadia – which is a world leader in systems for diagnosing and monitoring allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases – have extended their cooperation and signed a long-term agreement. The agreement, which covers production of the ImmunoCAP 100 instrument and spare parts until 2012, has an estimated value of SEK 20 million per year.

Declining demand is expected to generate operating earnings close to breakeven for the fourth quarter. An action program is being adopted to adjust costs to lower sales and to streamline operations. The measures are expected to steadily boost earnings during 2008. Non-recurring costs of SEK 50 million will be charged to fourth quarter earnings. For all of 2007, operating earnings (including non-recurring costs) are expected to total SEK 20 million and sales are expected to total SEK 2.6 billion.

As previously announced, PartnerTech Åtvidaberg AB, a subsidiary of PartnerTech AB, has entered into arbitration proceedings against Swe-Dish Satellite Systems AB concerning accounts payable on completed deliveries.

Tomra, a world-leading environmental technology company, has turned to PartnerTech as an integrated supplier with additional orders for its Logistima product group. Logistima orders are worth an estimated SEK 150 million on an annual basis. Tomra has also selected PartnerTech as its main supplier for the Tomra Recycling Center (Product group TRC).

Contract manufacturer PartnerTech has decided to give notices of termination to 100 of the approximately 450 employees at its Åtvidaberg plant. The main reason for the decision is the decline in volumes after final delivery of a number of major orders in 2006 and the first half of 2007.
