Operational Excellence seminar
This Thursday PartnerTech hosted a seminar together with Ulf Bernströms, Vice President Operational Excellence at Ericsson AB.
He explained his views on Operational Excellence and how to use it to drive competitive advantage beyond (but also including) merely reducing cost. The seminar went through 4 different important dimensions of a company’s operation that is critical to understand and analyze to design a balanced Operational Excellence strategy/program that combines excellent customer service, employee satisfaction and cost efficiency. For each of the 4 dimensions common problem situations were described as well as ideas for how to practically resolve them.
I thought it was a good seminar. It raised many interesting views on operational excellence, and is certainly something I will take with me internally. – seminar attendee
